It’s hard to imagine a film I want to see less than Roe vs. Wade, a pro-life take on the Supreme Court case starring conservative actors Jon Voight and Stacey Dash. But it’s gone and outdone itself with some new casting details.
The Daily Beast reports that right-wing commentator Tomi Lahren and professional troll Milo Yiannopoulos have small cameos in the film. Lahren will apparently play the daughter of Justice Harry Blackmun, who authored the Roe vs. Wade decision, and Yiannopoulous plays “Dr. David Sopher, a British abortion doctor who invented the Sopher ovum forceps.”

The film seems particularly pointed given recent legal developments. After Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced that he will retire this month, many have feared that the pivotal Roe vs. Wade case, which legalized abortion, could be overturned if Kennedy’s replacement is more conservative and a relevant case comes before the court.
It seems like director Nick Loeb wanted to keep his controversial castings under wraps. Actors and crew members have reportedly been leaving the project after discovering its true nature. According to The Daily Beast, a crew member said that not that many of the other cast members knew of Lahren and Yiannopoulos’ involvement. “There are lots of surprising cameos from controversial people in the news that I can’t tell you about—or more people might walk off the set,” Loeb had told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this week.
