Kourtney Kardashian’s 25-year-old boyfriend Younes Bendjima tried to poke fun at his Instagram scandal with her from earlier this week by commenting on Kardashian’s latest Instagram, only to have it publicly backfire.

Bendjima previously made headlines for commenting (then deleting), “thats what you need to show to get likes?” on her recent bikini shot, per TMZ. On her latest shot, featuring Kardashian pantsless but wearing a sweater and straddling a blanket, he wrote, “hmmm well… ok for this one.” Her friend Simon Huck commented a rolling eye emoji, that he later deleted. Buzzfeed captured a screenshot while it was still up:

Huck was photographed on vacation with Kardashian at the end of last month:

Bendjima responded to Huck, writing, “let me just play around fam,” with laughing emojis. No further public reply to this was posted, but it’s hint enough Bendjima’s “joke” didn’t exactly land, as the remark was still exactly what the first one was: sexist, immature, and suggesting Bendjima still thinks he should have some say over how Kardashian presents herself on Instagram.

Bendjima’s issues with Kardashian sharing more revealing shots have been an ongoing problem in their relationship, both E! and People reported earlier this week. Kardashian did not publicly respond to either comment, but of the first, a source told E! that “Kourtney doesn’t appreciate Younes posting his feelings in a public forum and being impulsive. She’s frustrated that he continues to get upset about it. She isn’t going to stop doing what she’s doing and feels like he needs to understand and deal with it.”
