While Felicity may be one of the few nostalgic TV faves not currently slated for a revival, two of its stars shared their own adorable mini-reunion this week. During an appearance together on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Keri Russell and Scott Speedman discussed reunion possibilities, that controversial haircut, and their offscreen romance (take a breath, Felicity/Ben shippers).

“I would do it,” Speedman confirmed in reference to a Gilmore Girls–style reboot, before good-naturedly ribbing Russell for her prestigious gig on The Americans. “Some people are on really high-class shows, and some people won’t really do it—I’ll do it in a heartbeat. I’ll be on Lifetime in no time.”
Speaking of things that are not high class,
Ben Speedman later cheerfully admitted that if social media were in the picture when he became famous, he might have had a scandal on his hands: “If there was Instagram back then, I don’t know if I would have survived…I would have pulled an accidental Anthony Weiner at some point.” Excuse me?
But now, onto the infinitely more important question of Felicity’s haircut. Love it or hate it, that super-short shear was an instant pop-culture moment and, if nothing else, it has given us this adorable snapshot of Russell and Speedman’s relationship.
“We were dating at the time, and I’d been such a disaster of a boyfriend up until then and I knew I had to put on a good show when I was gonna see her new haircut,” Speedman recalled. “I got to work and she turned around the corner and my face sort of froze in a half-panic, half-smile situation. [I] just did not pull it off, and you called me on it.” Russell admitted there was “a chia pet vibe” to the haircut, and playfully failed to deny Speedman’s “disastrous boyfriend” claim, refusing to get into specifics beyond the fact that he was a dude in his early twenties. No further explanation required, TBH.
